At the end of the day—and 30 years from the day—it won't matter how beautiful the flowers were or how perfectly your suit fit you or how delicious the food was, because all of those things will be gone. But your wedding pictures? They'll be there for generations to come, telling your story over and over again to your kids and grandkids and to their kids and grandkids after them. Don't you want to find someone who'll help you tell that story beautifully?
WEDDINGS STARTING AT $2900
Whether or not you're also hiring me to photograph your wedding doesn't matter one bit when it comes to engagement pictures; everyone deserves beauitul images of their love during such a sweet phase of life! Maybe we'll climb a mountain at sunrise. Maybe we'll go to the place where the two of you first met. Maybe I'll follow both of you around town while you get ice cream or cook a meal together. Don't the possibilities seem endless? I say we try to find out.

Yes, a wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime event. But isn't your son's first tooth something worth remembering as well?

frequently asked questions
Q: WHAT KIND OF CLIENT DO YOU WORK WITH?
A: My clients place high value on photography; they make it a priority. They don't just stand still and smile pretty for the camera...they're willing to push boundaries, test limits, explore new places, and get out of their comfort zone. Oh, and most important of all? They're head-over-heels in love, and they're not afraid to show it.
Q: ARE YOU WILLING TO TRAVEL?
A: Yep, 100%. You just tell me where you wanna go, anywhere nationwide, and I'll be there (travel fees will apply but #worthit).
Q: HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO YOU BOOK?
A: I book weddings up to 18 months in advance. For all sessions other than weddings, I don't book on Saturdays any farther than two months in advance. Contact me and we'll get it figured out!
Q: WILL YOU HELP US IF WE HAVE QUESTIONS?
A: You better believe it. My job is so much more than just showing up and shooting; there's work that goes into it beforehand, and work that goes into it afterward, and I'm available to you all along the way.
Q: ARE YOU OPERATING YOUR BUSINESS LEGALLY?
A: Totally. I have all of the required business licenses, I pay business insurance each month, and I pay both income and sales tax. Never hire a photographer who doesn't have/do those things!
Q: WHEN DO WE GET TO SEE OUR PHOTOS?
A: Wedding clients will receive their online gallery of images 3-6 weeks after the event, but I also try to post sneak peaks and/or a blog post within a day or two of the wedding. Portrait clients will receive their online gallery 2-3 weeks after the event.
Q: HOW DO WE OFFICIALLY RESERVE OUR DATE?
A: For weddings, I require a signed contract and a 50% retainer fee up front, with the remaining 50% due one month before the wedding. For all other sessions I require a signed contract and a 50% retainer fee up front, with the remaining 50% due before the start of your session.
Q: WHAT IF I'M LIKE . . . *REAL* BAD IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA?
A: Don't you fret. I'm good at what I do, and I've done it a lot. All you have to do is show up, trust me, and relax. I'll take care of the rest.
Q: DO YOU USE A SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER?
A: Not usually. I shoot 90% of my weddings without one, and I feel 100% confident doing so. However, if you want that little extra bit of reassurance, you got it.
Q: DO WE NEED TO FEED YOU AT SOME POINT?
A: Please and thank you! No one wants a photographer running around half starved and exhausted. I always take a 30(ish) minute break during the reception to eat, rest, and refuel.
Q: WHAT SHOULD WE EXPECT FROM YOU ON THE WEDDING DAY?
A: When I photograph your wedding, I like to stay behind the scenes as much as possible, capturing the day organically as it unfolds. But don't worry; I instruct and pose when necessary, making sure I get what I need and ensuring you don't feel awkward or uncomfortable. From the moment I arrive to the minute I leave, I'm always looking for the best shots. I watch what's happening, and I remember what's already happened. My eyes are always open and observing, and I shoot only when the best shots have presented themselves. I could walk around all day clicking away and looking super busy, but that's not beneficial to either of us.
